Service Description

Rubba teaches West African Dance from Ghana, Nigeria, Benin and Ivory Coast. He is also involved in orchestrating various education projects. Rubba is the director of Afidance and a director of DMAC UK. He has over 40 years experience of delivering West African dance in the UK and across the world. In these sessions we will learn some key techniques for West African Dances: stance, transitions from one move to the next, response or reaction to the master drum language and expressions in accordance with the mode of the dances. Bring a towel, a bottle of water, no expectations and a bundle of energy... you are going to need it! Eje Ka Jo!! (Yoruba for: 'Let us all dance!!')
