Capoeira Angola is an art-form from Brazil, a potent mix of martial art, dance, street theatre and music. It has a rich cultural heritage and the Bristol group is linked very closely to their master, Mestre Laercio, who regularly visits all of his groups worldwide. This six-week course is a great introduction to our regular classes. We take a playful approach to teaching the basics of the art, looking at the moves you’ll need to start learning Capoeira Angola. Music is a major part of Capoeira and we will also look at the rhythms and songs in these sessions. Wear comfortable training clothes and trainers. We look forward to seeing you there. Please book for the whole course if possible. This is a course and it is recommended you book all sessions to gain the full experience and understanding.
